When someone in your family has a stroke, there are so many questions and answers can be hard to find.
The American Stroke Association has created the warmline (as opposed to a hotline you might use in a crisis… if you think you’re having a stroke, call 9-1-1!) The Warmline is staffed by stroke survivors and family caregivers who have been where you are. They understand the fear, the frustration, the uncertainty. They have survived and even thrived after a stroke.
The call representatives can direct you to resources, answer questions, supply you with information and connect you to others who can help you too.
The number to call is 1-888-4-STROKE (478-7653).
